Alberto L. Colomer
Alberto L. Colomer is originally from Aguadilla, PR. He graduated from Ponce School of Medicine in 2003. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine were performed at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston from 2003 to 2006. His Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship was also completed at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston from 2006-2009. Following his training Dr. Colomer remained at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care where he also served as the Director of Affiliated Long-Term Inpatient Pulmonary Services from 2009-2010. In January 2011, Dr. Colomer joined the PCCS practice as their first Spanish-speaking physician. His interests include Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and Endobronchial Ultrasonography, Pleural Diseases, Pulmonary Hypertension and Sepsis.
